Currently under construction, 12 Halsey Street is a new multifamily rental project located in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The project is being co-developed with Hope Street Capital under the Affordable New York Program and is comprised of three buildings totaling approximately 240 rental units, with 30% of the total residential unit mix allocated as affordable pursuant to the 421a program. The approximately 230,000-square-foot project will also feature numerous residential amenities, including a resort-style pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, tenant lounge and multiple landscaped roof gardens, as well as prime ground-floor retail space and parking. The project is estimated to be completed in the fall of 2025.
12 Halsey Street is located in the heart of Bedford-Stuyvesant, the Brooklyn neighborhood known for its tree-lined streets, historic brownstones and vibrant dining and cultural offerings. The forthcoming development will be in close proximity to the iconic Prospect Park and cultural institutions such as the Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Residents of the development will also be within walking distance of a host of subway lines including the A, C, J, Z and M trains, providing easy access to Manhattan and other Brooklyn neighborhoods.
